Beach

The Resort stretches over 4 kilometres (2.5 miles) of fine sandy coastline along the South China Sea, with 3 different beaches:

• The main beach, running for one kilometre (O.6 miles) close to the centre of the Resort, has deckchairs and showers.
• Pantai Beach, opposite the speciality restaurant, is a pleasant beach of golden sands, 400 yards long, surrounded by rocks. Can be reached on foot via a paved path through the jungle (around 10 mins) or by a little shuttle train (around 5 mins). The beach has deckchairs and showers.
• And a 200-yard stretch of golden sand on which the Club's water sports activities take place (sailing and kayak). Same access as for Pantai Beach. Deckchairs and showers.

Accommodation

On the coast of Malaysia, 60 kms (37 miles) from Kuantan, looking out over the South China Sea, welcome to a new Eden steeped in luxury, refinement and exoticism. The 297 rooms are divided between 15 three-storey buildings. Built in the local style, on stilts, with access via a stairway, all the buildings are made of teak.

The Mutiara

An elegant setting around the pool. In the evening, the lighting enhances the restaurant's architecture and decor. By day, its 4 terraces provide ample space for the luxury of lunching in the open air.

Traditional Asian dishes at the buffet and international cuisine have pride of place here. There is a Baby corner where parents can prepare babies' meals.

Smoking permitted on the terrace. Air-conditioned restaurant with tables for 2 to 8 people, equipped with high chairs and booster cushions for babies.

When the main restaurant closes, discover the new "Enak" noodle bar concept, where you can watch the chef and his team prepare your favourite pasta dishes.
The Noodle Bar is an addition to the main restaurant, and welcomes you from 2.45 to 6 pm and from 9.45 to 11.30 pm.

The Rembulan

Located 5 minutes from the centre of the Resort beside Pantaï beach, backing onto beautiful gardens, this intimate restaurant welcomes you for lunch and dinner in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Try our delicious Asian cuisine à la carte, for a world of fabulous flavours. Our team also provides a daily selection of low-calory dishes.

Booking is compulsory in the evenings, at Reception. Waiter service. Smoking is permitted on the terrace.

The Club Med Spa by MANDARA reflects the soul of the most ancient rituals of Asian culture.

Organise your Spa sessions :

• Sign up for your Spa packages when you book your holiday.
• When you book your holiday, and purchase your Spa package, you are guaranteed of doing the treatments of your choice, but the precise time of your appointments will be fixed with the Spa hostesses when you arrive. You should consequently go to the Spa reception at the start of your holiday in order to finalise your Spa schedule.
• The majority of our Spa packages are designed for men and women (expectant mothers or mothers with a baby less than 3 months old or who are breast feeding are not advised to take Spa treatments). If in doubt, please consult us.
• You will be asked to complete a confidential questionnaire before doing your Spa treatments or package, in order to ensure that you are apt to receive your chosen treatment.
• A Spa package is not transferable, and must be done by the person who purchased it. The treatments may not be modified or replaced by the client.
• Treatments (à la carte or as part of a Spa package) cancelled during the client’s stay without a medical justification, and changes in timing made less than 24 hours in advance, cannot be taken into account; the said treatments may not be replaced or refunded.
• For your safety, you must wear anti-slip sandals in the Spa. A pair of anti-slip sandal is included in the purchase of our 1 to 6 day Spa packages.

The term "massage" implies a superficial manipulation of the face or body, solely for aesthetic purposes, sometimes to ensure good penetration of a cosmetic product, or for comfort. The massage referred to is an external massage of the skin, with no medical or therapeutic aim. It may be done manually or with mechanical aids, exclusively by qualified, trained professionals.

Hotel services for your children

BABY FEEDING AND EQUIPMENT ROOM

Open 24 hours a day, it provides all the equipment necessary for preparing babies' meals: mixer, steriliser (provided only on request), microwave, fridge, bottle warmer (systematically provided in the room for G.Ms® who have reserved the Baby Club Med® or Club Med Baby Welcome®) and additional products such as mineral water, fruit, yoghourt, biscuits, cereals and long-life milk (baby formula milk not provided).
You'll find two baby feeding and equipment rooms in this Resort.

BABY CORNER

This baby corner, located in the main restaurant, has sweet and savoury baby foods and all the equipment necessary for preparing babies' meals.

BABY RESTAURANT

Adapted to the nutritional needs of children, the meals are devised by the Baby restaurant's team of dedicated chefs. At the Baby restaurant, the GO®s takes are entirely responsible for lunch, but parents can share this moment with their children if they wish.

BABYSITTING*

To enjoy a moment of total freedom, take advantage of the baby-sitting service. For information: we provide a list of baby-sitting services on request, but Club Med has no responsibility for the service.

CLUB MED BABY WELCOME® (FROM BIRTH TO 23 MONTHS)

We’ve done everything in our power to ensure the comfort and well-being of babies and parents.

Personal welcome, baby-care material available in your room and/or in the baby feeding and equipment room (cot, changing mat, baby bath, high chair on request, bottle-warmer), sweet and savoury baby foods, baby corner equipped to prepare babies' meals, high chairs and/or booster cushions in the restaurant.

Spare pushchairs are also available if required.

PYJAMA CLUB®*

The Pyjamas Club leaves parents free to organise their evening as they wish. This group babysitting service run by experienced G.O®s in a dedicated area provides all the necessary comforts (beds, daybeds, video area, etc).

Baby Gym

Babies explore movement - crawling, climbing and sliding - on fun circuits created especially for them. The activity is run by G.O®, as part of the children's club activities proposed. Parents may also take part in this learning activity when the G.O® organise specific events.

Little Circus

Petit Chef Program®

Kuala Lumpur (1 day)

Visit the fascinating capital of Malaysia. Stop at the Petronas Towers, the second highest building in the world.

Sungai Lembing - A journey through time (1/2 day)

Nature lovers will love this visit to see some fascinating sites in the state of Pahang, the largest state in Malaysia. Visit the charming village of Sungai Lembing, 42 km (26 miles) from Kuantan, an important tin-mining centre until the mines were closed in 1986.
